About Me

Hey there! I'm Asmaa! A passionate designer with a passion for storytelling. I enjoy telling stories through my work, inspired by different cultures and perspectives. I firmly believe that design should resonate universally, fostering a deeper understanding of various human experiences.

 

With a Summa Cum Laude BA in Integrated Design from California State University of Fresno and an AA in Art New Media from American River College in Sacramento, I've earned recognition, receiving two local awards, including a Gold Addy and Best in Show in the Student category at the AAF Addy Awards, as well as a Gold District 14 Addy.

 

My journey in graphic design spans over a decade, but my passion for creating art has been with me for as long as I can remember.

I've gained my design skills through a mix of formal education,

self-exploration, lots of experimenting, freelance gigs, and internships. When I'm not crafting visuals, you'll likely find me in the kitchen, whipping up something delicious. Baking and cooking are more than just hobbies—they're my creative outlets, moments of pure joy.

As a kid, I used to dream of having magical powers to bring my imagination to life. Becoming a designer feels like the closest thing to making those childhood dreams a reality.
